Now we are back in our "home port" after a 9 week trip. In total only 840 nm with max 80 nm and min 1 nm per day. It was a good trip, Turkey´s SW coast is beautiful and with many protected bays. We have heard much about the Meltemi and terrible winds but we missed them with only one day of strong wind/good reach. On the other hand there were few motoring days. For our normally short trips we could sail on the sea breeze. The midday temperatures have increased steadily and are now higher than we like. After tidying up the boat we plan to travel in the mountains north of Finike in hopefully cooler air.
