One of the major advatages with Yalova is the proximity to Istanbul. The ferry terminal is only 10 minutes walk from our boat and we make regular trips. There are three ferry routes to different parts of the city to choose from. Istanbul is one of the few big cities that we long to go back to. When we chose Yalova as our winter port we, of course, looked at the average midday temperature for January. It´s 8,4 degrees and this years average has probably been near. When we returned after a visit to Sweden the weather was wonderful and around 15 degrees. So you will understand what the temperature was like the rest of the month.
